The SIG organized a 90-minute panel session “Practice-driven Research, Teacher Professional Development and Policy of ICT in Education” in the 20th International Conference on Computers in Education (ICCE 2012) on November 30, 2012. The SIG invited 10 academics from India, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Japan to make panel presentations and open discussion with around 50 participants for exchanging insights into the academic research, professional practice, and official policies in the emergent area of ICT in education in the Asia-Pacific region.
